Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Service Desk L1 Engineer to join our IT team. This entry-level role is perfect for recent graduates beginning a career in IT support. You will act as the first point of contact, providing initial troubleshooting and assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email, or self-ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Log and track incidents and service requests in the ticketing system with accurate documentation.
  • Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and basic application support.
  • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams as needed.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base with documentation and user guides.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to ensure efficient service delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc CS/IT).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic hardware, software, and networking concepts.
