Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Edit raw footage to create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing videos for YouTube and other social media channels
• Collaborate with the creative team, including scriptwriters, producers, and social media managers, to ensure the final product aligns with the intended vision and brand guidelines
• Select the most appropriate footage, music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the storytelling and overall impact of the video
• Maintain consistent visual style, pacing, and tone across all videos, in line with brand identity and target audience preferences
• Optimize videos for different social media platforms, considering aspect ratios, length, and platform-specific requirements
• Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and special effects to elevate the production value of the videos
• Ensure proper synchronization of audio and video elements, and perform color correction and audio mixing as needed
• Manage and organize digital assets, including footage, project files, and final deliverables
• Adhere to project deadlines and work efficiently under pressure to deliver high-quality videos on schedule
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends in the YouTube and social media landscape

Requirements:

• Video Editing Course or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Freshers right out of college or people having experience less than a year of professional video editing experience, preferably for YouTube or other social media platforms
• Strong portfolio showcasing excellent editing skills and a keen eye for visual storytelling
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop (After Effects, Illustrator knowledge is a bonus)
• In-depth knowledge of YouTube and other major social media platforms, including video specifications and best practices
• Understanding of basic color theory, composition, and audio mixing principles
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to experiment with new editing techniques and styles.
