Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Monitor Incident Intake Mechanisms (Case management Solution, Phone, Email)
• Analyze and Investigate Security Incidents (Utilizing SIEM, EDR, and other technologies)
• Facilitate Escalation Calls (via WarRooms) with stakeholders (including Legal and Security Officers)
• Document Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)Obtain and analyze suspicious files, digital evidence, log data interpret Malware Sandbox Analysis Results
• Manage containment and remediation efforts of affected assets, IOCs, and TTPs
• Produce Detailed Report of Incident Response Analysis/Activities
• Provide feedback to Detection Engineering Teams to improve alerting for the SOC team
• Respond to Questions from Legal and Executive Leadership related to Incident Response
• Provide Detailed Security Recommendations to impacted Lines of Business
• Identify deficiencies in processes and tools, and recommend security controls and/or corrective actions for mitigating technical and business risks.
• Contribute to Lessons Learned Meetings
• Influence the creation and/or adoption of new standards and procedures
• Mentor analysts, providing training and guidance through complex incidents-Call duties may be required
• This role is intended for the night shift, the candidate should be comfortable with night shifts
• To ensure that Return to Office guidelines are met, candidates will need to report to work for the minimum required days.
• Cab facilities are available for the night shift

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 or more years of IT Security or Cyber Security experience in any of the following areas: 
• Incident Response
• Email Security
• Data Protection\Governance
• Cybersecurity threat detection, monitoring, and reporting
• Cyber Intelligence and Threat Hunting
• Vulnerability Management
• IR, investigations, monitoring,, and reporting experience
• Experience with SIEM & EDR technologies, public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, & GCP),, and cybersecurity frameworks
