Responsibilities:

Build various Distributed Systems like Galera, RMQ, Aerospike, nGinx etc.
Deploy Operating System Vulnerability fixes to Production Systems
Perform routine Database maintenance activities
Build & Roll out Proxy Configuration to Production Systems
Understand the criticality of Production Infrastructure
Be willing to work in night shifts and Oncall
Automate various Operational Tasks based on need

Requirements:

Minimum of 1-3 years of hands on experience in Linux / Unix System Administration
Understanding of Database Systems, CDN / Proxy, Virtualization / Hypervisors, fundamentals of Networking (DHCP / PXE / Routing / Gateway etc).
Knowledge of automation / configuration management using either saltstack or equivalent
Knowledge of private and public cloud environments
Good communications skills

Knowledge of the following will be a plus:

MySQL / Mariadb / PostgreSQL
Implementation of cloud services on linux using kvm/qemu
Aerospike
ElasticSearch
