About the role:

We are seeking an Information Security Intern to join our Internal Audit team. This internship offers hands-on experience in auditing IT systems, information security controls, and network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced auditors to gain insights into auditing methodologies specific to IT, information security, and network security. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in IT and information security auditing within a dynamic and supportive environment. Expectations/ Requirement:

Assist in conducting audits and assessments of IT systems, information security controls, and network security infrastructure.
Participate in the evaluation of IT governance, risk management, and
compliance related to network security.
Perform testing of IT, information security, and network security controls.
Document findings in audit workpapers, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
Assist in identifying vulnerabilities within network security infrastructure.
Recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance security measures.
Collaborate with IT and network security teams to understand system configurations, security requirements, and compliance measures.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:

Basic understanding of IT systems, information security controls, and network security principles.
Familiarity with audit processes and methodologies is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
