About the Role
IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a motivated and results-driven Associate Manager – Acquisition (Current Account) to join its Retail Banking team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing new current account customers in the North 1 region of Haryana, India.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential customers and develop acquisition strategies for current account relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication
Conduct market research to identify business opportunities
Meet and exceed sales targets set by management
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding
Stay updated with industry trends and competitors’ activities
Provide accurate reports on sales activities and customer feedback
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2 years of sales experience (preferably in banking/financial services)
Strong understanding of current account products and services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Ability to work independently and in teams
Willingness to travel across the North 1 region of Haryana
Additional Preferences
Fluency in Hindi is preferred
Knowledge of the local market and customer preferences
Experience in handling corporate clients will be an advantage
